Amber, founder of The Equine Creative, is a Michigan-based artist for equestrian businesses. Rooted in horse life, her work is built from real experience—thoughtful, custom pieces that feel as personal as the brands they represent.
Elise Holmes
Freelance Illustrator
Elise, founder of Ketsol, is an animal artist in Bozeman, Montana. Her connection to horses comes through her family and her young children—who are lucky enough to learn from a teacher who delights them with pony rides on his OTTB.
Jess Dean
Freelance Photographer
Jess Dean is a commercial photographer in Missoula, Montana whose work is elevated by a lifelong connection to horses. She spent her childhood galloping through the cornfields of Iowa, but her adult self is trending more "dressage curious."
Katie McKinstry Stylos
Freelance Graphic Designer
Katie is a former three-day eventer turned ice climber and designer in Bozeman, Montana. Her equestrian roots shine through in her work—grounded in feel, shaped by experience, and built with the same intentionality she brought to riding.
Leah Wright
Finance (aka Horse Girl Math)
Leah handles all things finance with a steady hand and sharp eye for detail. Based in Bozeman, Montana, she spends as much time in the wash stall as she does eventing her Irish Sport Horse, Happy—a fleabitten grey intent on being brown.
Mallory Underwood
Operations (aka Barn Manager)
Mal is a top-notch executor who provides human-first (horse close second?) partnership, consultation, strategy and implementation. She met Nicole in Costa Rica on a yoga retreat with—you guessed it—sunset horse riding on the beach.
Susan DiFelice
Freelance Illustrator
Susan DiFelice is a lifelong equestrian and professional illustrator whose work bridges horse sport, education, and design. With a deep understanding of equine anatomy and rider mechanics, she creates visuals that feel as accurate as they are beautiful.

2006 Quarter Horse Gelding
Rem is a finished reined cow horse who taught Nicole (almost) everything she knows. When it comes to other people, his motto is STRANGER DANGER. In his spare time, he enjoys dressage and "singing."
Jumping Jax
2015 Azteca Gelding
Athletic and apologetic, Jax packs a BIG personality into a stocky 14.1hh frame. He's notoriously extroverted and hilarious. In his spare time, he leads pasture fitness classes—and participation is mandatory.
